Editing a Grant Request |

How do I edit or update my grant application after I have submitted it? |
|
A grant may not be modified once it has been submitted. After submission, all modifications or requests for requests for more information will be handled via e-mail. |

I received an e-mail from Sanofi Vaccines requesting more information, but I am not able to access my request with the login information provided. |
|
Requests for more information are handled via e-mail. The login information is only provided for you to check the status of your grant request. |

I received an e-mail requesting additional information. May I fax or e-mail the information? |

All updates to grant applications must be made via e-mail correspondence. |

Timelines and Decision-making |
|
How long will it take to receive a decision regarding my request? |
|
It generally takes 4-6 weeks for a decision to be made regarding a grant application. Grant review may be deferred until 10-12 weeks before the program start date. |
|
What is the review and decision process for determining whether or not Sanofi Vaccines will fund a grant request? |
|
We have a formal process and review committee that reviews each grant request. |
|
How will I be contacted regarding the review and processing of my grant? |
|
All contact is made via e-mail to the address entered into the "Applicant Information" section of the application. |
|
Why didn't I receive the e-mail notification from Sanofi Vaccines? |
|
It is possible that the e-mail from Sanofi Vaccines was mistakenly filtered by your company's or provider's SPAM filter. Please check to ensure that this is not the case. |

If my application is declined, may I appeal the decision? |
|
No. Decline decisions are final, and can not be appealed. |
|
My grant was declined but I do not understand the reason - what does it mean? |

Contracts |
|
How will I receive the Sanofi Vaccines Grant Agreement (SPGA)? |
|
The agreement will be sent to you via e-mail. You are required to print and sign two (2) copies of the agreement and return both with ORIGINAL signatures, along with a current W-9, at least 21 days prior to the program start date. You will receive a fully executed agreement for your files. |

Who should sign the Sanofi Vaccines Grant Agreement (SPGA)? |
|
Agreements should only be signed by persons authorized by the company/institution/organization to enter into contractual agreements on their behalf. The SPGA must be signed by all parties. |
|
How soon will I receive an executed agreement back from Sanofi Vaccines? |
|
Once Sanofi Vaccines receives the original, signed agreements, it can take up to 3-4 weeks to obtain all required signatures, depending on the funding amount. It is to your advantage to return the agreement in a timely manner to avoid delays. |
|
Will Sanofi Vaccines sign an institution's agreement or other documentation? |
|
No. Sanofi Vaccines requires that its agreement be executed for any grant funded. Only one agreement may be in place for any one program/grant. The Sanofi Vaccines agreement meets ACCME standards. |
|
May I make changes to the Sanofi Vaccines Grant Agreement (SPGA)? |
|
No. Changes to the SPGA are not permitted. |
|
I sent the Sanofi Vaccines Grant Agreement (SPGA) executed by my institution/company/organization back to Sanofi Vaccines. How do I know if Sanofi Vaccines received it? |
|
Once Sanofi Vaccines receives the SPGA signed by your institution, the applicant will receive a confirmation e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail within a reasonable amount of time, please call 1-800-835-3587. |

Payment |
|
How soon will I receive funding? |
|
It can take 2-4 weeks after the Sanofi Vaccines Grant Agreement (SPGA) is fully executed. |
|
I did not cash my check within 90 days of receipt. Is my check still valid? |
|
No. Your check is void after 90 days. |
|
I received a check but do not know which grant it is funding. How do I find out which grant the check funded? |
|
The Application ID and contact person are listed on the stub in the Comment section. The Application ID is sometimes preceeded and followed by a few zeros; the contact person's name may be truncated due to space limitations. If you still can not identify the grant, call 1-800-433-2463. |

Reconciliations |
|
Is a reconciliation required if all the grant funds were spent exactly as stated in the application? |
|
Yes. A reconciliation is required for all grants. Failure to submit a reconciliation within 90 days of the Program End Date generally results in declination of future funding. |
|
I am receiving e-mail reminders to submit a grant reconciliation, but the program has not yet ended. What do I do? |
|
Reconciliations are triggered by the Program End Date listed in the grant application. If you are receiving Reconciliation Reminders, then your submitted End Date has passed. If your Program End Date has changed, you must notify Sanofi Vaccines so we can update our database. Call 1-800-835-3587. |
|
I have misplaced the reconciliation form or did not receive one. How may I obtain a replacement? |
|
On the Home Page of grants.sanofiVaccines.us, select "Access My Request". The login is your Application ID Number and the e-mail address from the "Applicant Information" section of the grant application. |

Will Sanofi Vaccines help me with speaker suggestions? |
|
Yes. In limited circumstances, and in accordance with ACCME guidelines, Sanofi Vaccines may respond to an unsolicited written request for suggestions of names or sources of possible presenters. Call 1-800-835-3587 for directions regarding this type of request. |

May a Sanofi Vaccines Sales professional, Marketing Personnel or Medical Liaison provide technical assistance with a grant application? |
|
A Sanofi Vaccines Sales professional or Marketing personnel may never assist in any aspect of a grant request; an MSL may provide limited technical assistance. |
